2017 Golden Globes: Trend Alert!Β

I’m sure all of my fashionistas are watching the red carpet of the Golden Globes!  I’m seeing some awesome looks and then some not so awesome looks.  lol

I definitely did notice a trend. Silver and Gold is in – Metallic! I would say I’m here for it. The ladies looked stunning on the red carpet.

I couldn’t help myself but search for a few of these different looks for less. ASOS has some beautiful gold and silver metallic pieces on their site.  See below for a few looks that are under $250 that are stunning as well.  The first dress is my absolute favorite. 😍😍

Labor Day…No More White? πŸ€”πŸ™„

I’ve always asked myself, why did my mom always say as a kid…”you couldn’t wear white after Labor Day?” I’m thinking summer isn’t officially over and depending on your location…it’s very much still hot! ( like Florida).
I’m a firm believer that fashion rules are made to broken and in my opinion this is one of them. So ladies – break out your winter white!

After all, CoCo Chanel wore white all year around as one of her staples.

Check out a few photos of my all white look below.

My Take: Rompers! πŸ€—

So there’s been this crazy trend with Rompers this season. They are definitely a casual look for the summer. Simple but yet chic!  To be honest, I only own one! Haha. I think sometimes as women we feel that certain looks won’t look great on us and that was definitely the case with Rompers with me.

However with that said, I shared in a previous post a recent purchase of one from Asos. Check out below and a few others I discovered on the Nordstrom.com website. All under $70

Romper: Asos $39.50

All on Nordstrom.com under $70.

If you were a flower, which one would you be? πŸŒΉ

I would be a rose – love pink roses. There’s something that’s so elegant and romantic about them. Hmmm but not so much on my clothing however the floral print trend has been booming this spring/summer.

I wasn’t a big fan of floral prints because the clothing looks a little busy but it’s growing on me for sure.  Floral prints can look great on a dress or a top! I recently purchased a floral print dress from Asos and absolutely loved it! 😍 Check out a quick bathroom pic below. Gotta love bathroom selfies!

This dress is currently on the website for $23, originally priced at $57! Great find.

I added a belt just to get a little shape to it.

Dress: Asos

Belt: Forever21

Shoes: Target

Total outfit purchase: Approx $60
